Downtown Tyler is excited to celebrate Totality Tyler! This will be a celebration of one of nature’s most amazing events happening on April 8th, 2024. For the first time since 1979, Tyler is in the path of totality, meaning we will not only see the full solar eclipse, but we will also see the moon’s shadow completely cover the sun for a few minutes, creating a ring-of-fire effect.
